Join BI Parks and the BI Parks and Trails Foundation for an early-release day afternoon spreading mulch at the Bainbridge Island Japanese Exclusion Memorial. Composting mulch adds to the health of the soil and plants by reducing runoff, keeping the soil cooler, retaining soil moisture, and building soil nutrients.
Volunteer should wear close toed shoes and long pants. All tools will be provided.
