Description

Join the BI Parks Natural Resources team, Seattle based EarthCorps, Sustainable Bainbridge, and the BI Parks and Trails Foundation for a morning at Hawley Cove Park. Spend time helping remove historic debris including tiny Styrofoam particles from an old, abandoned dock, large pressure treated logs, and noxious weeds like Purple Loosestrife and Yellow Flag Iris. We might even see some of the resident red winged black birds, or traveling waterfowl!

This is a great project for all ages! Tools, water, and snacks are provided.  Access to the beach from NE Wing Point Way requires a short, sloped walk with steps. Accessible parking and access is available at Hawley Way NE.

Parking is VERY limited.  Please plan to bike, walk, and carpool!
