Volunteer: Conservation Work Party — 8 Acre Woods, Summer 2026

Join us as we pioneer the first-ever volunteer work parties for the new park addition, "8 Acre Woods!" Throughout the summer, we will work with the Bainbridge Island Parks and Trails Foundation and the Rolling Bay Community to enhance the native plant landscape through invasive, non-native plant removal. Be sure to dress for the weather, wear durable/long-sleeved attire (as we'll be among blackberry!), bring a reusable water bottle (we'll have water to share!), and wear closed-toe shoes.

This work party will be best for those ages 8 and up, who don't mind tackling blackberry and navigate well on uneven terrain off trail. We hope to see you there!

Parking is limited--please carpool or bike/walk over if you can!
