April is Earth Month and we are celebrating through stewardship! Join the Park District and our partners at Manzanita Park to restore habitat and do our part to celebrate parks and the natural environment they support. Projects could include spreading chips on trails, surfacing, improving drainage, or pruning back the spring flush.
These work parties are well suited for children ages eight and up who are comfortable using some tools and walking a mile or so throughout the two-hour work party.
